At the Jones Library, Amherst's own composer Robert Stern will introduce his new work, Music for a Midsummer Evening, written to celebrate the Town of Amherst's 250th year to be performed by Amherst residents Laura Klock, horn, Lynn Klock, saxophone and Estela Olevsky, piano.
At the Jones Library, Gabriela Lena Frank and William Bolcom will introduce and preview their new works which will be premiered in concert at Charlemont, July 17/18. |
